Mid-America has been blessed with the ability to assist students in need through friends, alumni, and current faculty, staff and students. Donations received from friends and alumni are generally directed toward scholarships which assist students with tuition, housing, books, and other living expenses. Monies received from faculty, staff and students comprise the Student Benevolence Fund, which helps students and their families with emergency needs. All of these funds are distributed through the Student Aid and Scholarship Committee.
The Student Aid and Scholarship Committee administers the various scholarships and student aid money received by the Seminary. At the Northeast Branch, the Director of the Campus and the faculty serve as the Student Financial Aid Committee.
There is an application period twice a year where all students in their second year of study and above (30+ hours) are allowed to apply for scholarships. During the month of October or July, all existing students may fill out scholarship applications to submit.
