Dr. Jake Dunlow

Adjunct Professor, Christian Education and Ministry

Dr. Jake Dunlow serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Northeast Campus in areas of Christian Education and Ministry. Dr. Dunlow is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ed.D, M.Div.) and Old Dominion University (BS).


Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was saved through the ministry of South Norfolk Baptist Church in 1994.  He sensed a call to ministry his senior year of college and through much prayer and the encouragement of his home church, River Oak Church in Chesapeake, VA, he enrolled at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. There he earned both of his graduated degrees.


Currently, Dr. Dunlow serves as Senior Pastor of Vassar Road Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie, NY where he lives with his wife Laura and their two children, Elijah and Marcy. Previously, he has served as Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor at churches in North Carolina.


His scholarly pursuits are in the areas of Christian Education, Discipleship, Church Ministry, and College Ministry.
